Intigua Joins Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance, Integrates with Microsoft Server Management Products

Intigua™, the company that pioneered configuration management for software agents, today announced it has joined the Microsoft (News - Alert) Enterprise Cloud Alliance. As part of the program, it has integrated Intigua Agent Manager, which monitors, controls and automates server tools, with Microsoft System Center and Microsoft Operations Management Suite (OMS). The combined solutions will enable IT and DevOps professionals to save thousands of hours by automatically deploying, upgrading, re-configuring, throttling, restarting, cleaning up and reinstalling software agents for Microsoft and non-Microsoft IT tools in the cloud and on-premise. IT teams can also use Intigua to accelerate the evaluation and deployment of OMS.

"In today's on-demand economy, IT organizations must be able to operate with the utmost speed and flexibility. However, as companies accelerate delivery cycles and adoption of large-scale virtualization and cloud technologies, their long-standing server management compliance and operational challenges are becoming exacerbated-and slowing business down," said Shimon Hason, CEO of Intigua. "By collaborating with Microsoft and integrating Intigua Agent Manager with Microsoft's powerful System Center and Operations Management Suite solutions, we're making it easy for companies to eliminate those obstacles, speed up service delivery and optimize operations."

"We welcome Intigua to the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance and we look forward to seeing their solution expanding the capabilities of Microsoft System Center and Operations Management Suite," said Jeremy Winter, Partner Director PM at Microsoft.

Intigua Agent Manager is a server management tool controller that encapsulates agents - such as those for monitoring, security and confiuration - within containers, so that they're portable. Intigua monitors the status of tools across physical, virtual or cloud-based machines, and uses policies to automate tasks and ensure they perform as required.

Intigua Agent Manager seamlessly integrates with System Center Operations Manager and System Center Configuration Manager. It enables Microsoft and non-Microsoft IT tools to be centrally controlled via Microsoft's single pane of glass, delivering:

  • Faster deployments and upgrades: Tasks that used to take weeks, such as removing agents and deploying new ones, now take minutes.
  • Effortless policy enforcement: Instantly see which servers don't have the required agents and versions, and deploy them with a few clicks.
  • Painless re-configuration at scale: Error-prone, repetitive tasks such as password changes or cloud migration, happen automatically.

Facilitating OMS Deployments
Intigua helps businesses extend System Center implementations to OMS and gain even more value from the combined solution, by making it easier to manage all tools on-premise and in the cloud:

  • Unified, granular view into, and control over, Microsoft and non-Microsoft tools across the entire infrastructure, including multiple cloud providers.
  • Increased stability for System Center and OMS agents via Intigua container technology.
  • Expanded orchestration capabilities with Intigua's policy-based automation.
  • Better heterogeneous management with Intigua containers on Windows and Linux environments.
