Interactive Intelligence Group, a supplier of unified IP business communications solutions, said that it has opened a technology training center in West Lafayette, Ind.
According to the group, the new center was opened to provide hands-on training for paid Interactive Intelligence interns enrolled at Purdue University's Department of Computer Science and Department of Computer and Information Technology. The program is ideal for students interested in pursuing IT careers in the field of software testing.
"We opened this training center to complement Purdue's excellent instruction in networking by giving students supervised, real-world experience working with our senior test engineers on actual company projects," said Interactive Intelligence senior director of testing, Jim Ostrognai.
The 1,900 square-foot center includes connectivity to the Interactive Intelligence headquarters test lab in Indianapolis.
The Interactive Intelligence intern program at the West Lafayette training center is open to Purdue University freshmen through seniors. The program is offered during the summer and throughout the school-year.
