IntelliDOT signs agreement with Iatric Systems

Nov 18, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) --
IntelliDOT, a provider of wireless, handheld barcode point-of-care solutions to hospitals, has signed an agreement with alliance partner Iatric Systems, a provider of software, interfaces and reporting services.

The agreement formalizes interface pricing, implementation, and maintenance fees for customers wishing to use Iatric Systems interfaces between IntelliDOT solutions and a Meditech magic or Meditech client/server healthcare information system (HIS).

This agreement further strengthens a relationship between IntelliDOT and Iatric Systems. The companies have worked closely together to provide a number of interfaces for barcode point-of-care implementations at hospitals that wanted to add the IntelliDOT system to an existing Meditech magic or Meditech client/server HIS.

Joel Berman, president of Iatric Systems, said: "We've implemented more than 6,000 interfaces to facilities using the Meditech HIS. We're pleased to partner with IntelliDOT Corporation to help healthcare providers work more effectively. Our interfaces will connect the customer's Meditech system with IntelliDOT's innovative barcode point-of-care solutions."
