Innovator Award Program Winner Announced at Dexter + Chaney's 16th Annual Users' Conference

Dexter + Chaney (www.dexterchaney.com) awarded the winner of its first Innovator Award Program with a video presentation during the opening session of its 2012 Users' Conference (April 26-27). Announced in November 2011, the annual program celebrates clients who use Dexter + Chaney's construction software in unique and innovative ways to improve their businesses. Of the many submissions received, the three finalists for the 2011-2012 program were: Granger Contracting Company, Inc./N-Store Services LLC (Granger), Helmkamp Construction Company, and The Interstates Companies.

The opening general session of the 2012 conference featured a video of each of the three customer finalists, showcasing their unique uses of the software. After screening each video, Granger was namd the 2011-2012 winner for their use of Spectrum (News - Alert) to streamline their reporting needs. "Spectrum's flexibility has allowed us to integrate our custom applications into their system and to combine reporting on both - it's been a tremendous benefit to us," said Mike Goodman, Granger's IT manager.

As the grand prize winner, Goodman accepted a distinctive Innovator Award trophy, $1,000 to apply toward any Dexter + Chaney training event, and an Apple (News - Alert) iPad. The two runners-up, Helmkamp and Interstates, received a $300 MasterCard gift card courtesy of Comdata Corporation.
