Infratel Announces Integration of Hosted Telephony Solution with Parallels

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Infratel, a leading provider of call center products and a new hosted service for the SMB market, has formed a strategic partnership with Parallels - a cloud services enablement leader that automates cloud service delivery, officials at both companies announced today.

"This partnership will enable us to make our new hosted solution available to a cloud service provider channel that already recognizes the value of cloud-based services and is able to quickly deploy them using Parallels Automation," said Jim Southwell, general manager of Infratel's North American operations. "This is a tremendous boost to our sales team that will be marketing the new hosted service to small businesses that may be accessing cloud services for the first time." Parallels Automation automates the full lifecycle of hosted services and software -- from service management and provisioning to customer self-service and datacenter management. It decreases the time spent on repetitive administration tasks and system maintenance allowing cloud service providers to focus on growth and profits. Executives at Parallels feel that Infratel's hosted solution will be well received by many of the businesses served by Parallels Automation partners.

"Our goal is to provide our Parallels Automation partners access to best-in-class hosted cloud services that can be deployed quickly, easily and at costs that are a fraction of what they'd face by trying to tackle internally," said Jack Zubarev, president of worldwide service providers at Parallels.
