InforSense Listed in Leading Industry Analyst Firm's Hype Cycle for Healthcare Provider Applications and Systems

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LONDON and CAMBRIDGE, MA, July 21 / MARKET WIRE/ --

InforSense Ltd., the
leader in next generation business and scientific intelligence, today
announced it has been listed by Gartner, Inc. in its Hype Cycle report for
Healthcare Provider Applications and Systems(1). In the report Gartner
defined a new category called Advanced Clinical Research Information
Systems where InforSense is cited as a sample vendor.

"Products like Advanced Clinical Research Information Systems... are
considered to have 'warm' profiles that have high value to care delivery
organizations during the next two to five years," said the analysts in the
report. "These products enable new ways of doing business and could result
in cost savings or increased revenue."

According to the Gartner report, "An advanced clinical research information
system (ACRIS) is a complex constellation of capabilities that can rapidly
assemble data assets for research questions, and provide data mining and
research process support to meet the needs of clinical and translational
research and related biostatistics and biocomputation."

"We see significant market need for clinical and translational research
intelligence solutions and we see the tremendous business impact they can
have," said Jonathan Sheldon, Chief Scientific Officer at InforSense. "The
initial implementations of our Translational Research
Solution have been at academic research organizations seeking to
quickly and easily aggregate clinical, sample and experimental data to
discover hidden patterns and insights in diverse data sets. However, we are
also receiving considerable interest now from Pharma and Biotech customers
who are looking for new ways to integrate and analyse their translational
data."

The Gartner report states, "The demand of ACRIS is triggered by two forces:
increased adoption of commercial computer-based patient records and the
rapidly advancing interest and funding for genomics and translational
research." Moreover, "the competitive nature of clinical research will fuel
the adoption speed, and grant awards will fuel investment."

The InforSense Translational Research Solution provides out-of-the-box
tools and capabilities to integrate basic scientific research data and
techniques with clinical research to improve disease understanding and
patient care. World class healthcare institutions such as Erasmus

University Medical Center and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are using the
InforSense solution in their translational research.
