Infoblox IPv6 Experts to Present at Largest North American IPv6 Summit
SANTA CLARA, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Infoblox (News - Alert) Inc. today announced experts from its IPv6
Center of Excellence (CoE), Tom Coffeen and Paul Ebersmann, will be
presenting at the 2012 North American IPv6
Summit, the largest IPv6 event in North America.
As the global supply of IPv4 addresses continues to dwindle, enterprises
will need to be able to support the rapidly growing number of
IPv6-enabled devices, such as laptops, mobile phones, printers, scanners
or tablets, that will connect to networks. To master this transition,
enterprise and service provider IT professionals should take steps to
evaluate, prepare and begin the network migration process as soon as
possible. The presentations and tutorials at the North American IPv6
Summit are specifically designed to help kick-start this process.
"The Infoblox IPv6 experts bring a wealth of expertise gathered through
their deep knowledge of IP addressing technologies and many engagements
with the enterprises and service roviders worldwide taking an early
interest in the adoption of IPv6," says Scott Hogg, Chair of the Rocky
Mountain IPv6 Task Force and a driving force behind the North American
IPv6 Summit. "There are valuable lessons learned and best practices that
will benefit all our summit attendees."
The event takes place April 9 - 11, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt in Denver,
Colorado, and is coordinated by the Rocky Mountain IPv6 Summit and the
other regional IPv6 Task Forces. Presentations by Infoblox IPv6 experts
include:
-
1:00 - 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, "IPv6 Adoption in the Enterprise"
-
1:45 - 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, "Meet the new IP, same as the
old IP?"
Infoblox's award-winning IP
Address Management systems, which integrate essential domain name
system (DNS) and IP address management (IPAM), are also the official
platform for the show network.
