Indonesia ready to assist Palestine
(Thai Press Reports Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)Section: Regional News - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has stated that Jakarta is ready to offer technical assistance to Palestine.
During his current visit to Saudi Arabia, President Susilo expressed his hope that the Palestinian problems can be resolved peacefully and sustaintably.
He also confirmed that to solve the Palestinian problem, it requires the involvement of not only the United Nations (UN), the European Union (EU), Russia and the US, but also other nations like Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.
Indonesia is ready to cooperate with Saudi Arabia with the aim to establishing long-term peace in Palestine, he added.
President Susilo is on a 10-day Middle East trip that will also take him to Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. - VNA
