INDIA,UNITED STATES : Cognizant Technology Solutions inks 5-year deal with Future Group [TendersInfo (India)]
(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Cognizant Technology Solutions has inked a 5-year deal with Future Group, India based leading multi-format retail group.
As per this deal, Cognizant Technology will be responsible to offer end-to-end information technology infrastructure services for all Future Group companies. The company will provide support for more than 1,000 Future Group stores, like Pantaloons, Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar, Central, Home Town, and eZone, across 85 towns and cities in India. The deal will also include new stores the company opens in the future.
Cognizant will offer service desk support, data centre management, and network services support, in addition to mission-critical, last-mile IT infrastructure services support to Future Group s growing network of stores, warehouses, offices, and data centres. With Future Group, Cognizant will establish a Point-of-Sale lab to develop and implement next-generation IT solutions to offer best-in-class consumer experience in stores, and also to co-innovate future of the store, using mobile and kiosk technologies.
