India : L&T INFOTECH acquires OTIS ELEVATOR s ISRC [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A wholly-owned subsidiary of the engineering conglomerate Larsen and Toubro (L&T), L&T Infotech has announced the acquisition of Pune-based Information Systems Resource Centre (ISRC), the software export unit of Otis Elevator Co., for an undisclosed sum. ISRC delivers IT services to a number of firms of the Otis Group worldwide. Omar Fathi, Vice-President, Information Technology, UTC Building & Industrial Systems, said: This (the deal) allows UTC Building and Industrial Systems IT organisation to focus on supporting the company s core businesses, while allowing ISRC and its employees to grow and serve its customers under the new ownership.
