A recent study
by Indegy Labs found that 86% of executives responsible for
industrial security rated insiders as the biggest security threat
to their organizations. In this session, Michael will present the
three most common forms of insider security threats including
sabotage, human error and account compromise. He will explain how
each is carried out and the risks they pose in operational
technology (OT) environments. In addition, Michael will present a
best practices framework for protecting OT networks from these
threats that includes risk assessments, activity monitoring and
OT/IT security unification measures.
