Illinois Technology Association Names Savo Finalist for CityLights Award


May 03, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Savo Group has been selected as a finalist for a 2011 Illinois Technology Association CityLights award in the Rising Star category.

According to a release, the ITA CityLights Rising Star award recognizes a company that has exhibited success in building a sustainable organization with ongoing revenue growth, and expansion of its products and services to new market segments. A panel of more than 40 judges representing the Who's Who in Illinois technology reviewed nominations and selected finalists for the seven CityLights award categories.



Judges hail from major organizations including Microsoft, University of Chicago Booth School of Business, New World Ventures, and World Business Chicago, and newer entities including Technori, Viewpoints.com, Marchie Enterprises, SmartSignal and midVentures.

Past winners include companies like The Point (now known as Groupon), GrubHub.com, NAVTEQ, Model Metrics, Smart Signal, Mayor Richard Daley, and Jack Noonan.


Winners will be announced at the CityLights Awards Gala Thursday, May 12, in the Great Hall at Union Station in Chicago.
