iGreet e cards -- If You're Going to Send an ecard, Send the One That Does the Most Good

WINDSOR, Ontario, Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Help launch iGreet, an online greeting card (www.iGreets.co) company that wants to share a generous portion of its profits with independently verified charities and the people who send and receive its e cards.

iGreet's founder, James Bertrand, lost several family members to cancer and heart disease within a relatively short time and through these losses was inspired to create a different type of greeting that could change countless lives – one card at a time. He says, "To the iGreet family, philanthropy is much more than writing checks. It's our passion as well as our soul, fiber and driving force."

How does it work?

  • It all starts by sending beautiful happy birthday e cards, anniversary e cards, holiday e cards, or "just because" e cards to family, friends, colleagues, or customers (www.igreets.co/Sample-iGreet-e-cards.aspx).
  • Each iGreet ecard bought adds $4.95 to a cash pool. Every month, iGreet plans to share this cash prize pool (www.igreets.co/how-it-works/win-cash-prizes.aspx) with senders and recipients – over 4,000 winners with prizes ranging from $250 to $5 million.
  • iGreet also plans to give away 20 consolation prizes. Consolation winners, both the ecard sender and recipient, will split $25,000. They will get to donate an additional $25,000 to a verified nonprofit charity of their choice.
  • Charities win, too. iGreet is one of the few for-profit companies that will be dedicated to giving much more than the standard percentage of its profits to charitable foundations. iGreet will donate to charity (www.igreets.co/how-it-works/how-to-donate-to-charity.aspx) every month and will plan to give $2 million of every cash prize pool to its selected nonprofits.

We invite you to visit iGreets.co today and learn more about how it works (www.igreets.co/how-it-works/how-does-iGreet-work.aspx). Sign up to be notified when you can come back and send an ecard to be entered to win cash prizes in our first event.

Spread the word on your social network of choice and help make iGreet happen! While you're at it, be sure to like us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/supportigreet) so together we can do good and help others.
