IEEE Women in Engineering Brings Inspiring Speakers Center Stage at Its 5th Annual International Leadership Conference


IEEE, the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for humanity, today announced new additions to the speaker lineup for its fifth annual IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Conference (IEEE (News - Alert) WIE ILC). Emphasizing the event's Lead Beyond - Accelerating Innovative Women Who Change the World theme, organizers have tapped acclaimed women leaders in their industry to share their experiences and inspirational messages through a series of keynote addresses and tracks. IEEE WIE ILC 2018 is scheduled for 21-22 May 2018, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif.

Among newly announced keynote speakers are:

  • Lorraine Martin, Deputy Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin's (News - Alert) Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS),
  • Mary Gendron, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Senior Vice President and CIO, and
  • Fei-Fei Li, Google (News - Alert) Chief Scientists of Cloud AI/ML and Stanford University Professor.

Complementing the event agenda populated by global influencers, such as:

  • Guy Kawasaki, Canva Pty. Ltd., chief evangelist and renowned entrepreneur,
  • Paula Tolliver, Intel (News - Alert) Corporation Corporate, Vice President and CIO, and
  • Nita Patel, IEEE WIE ILC founder and L3 Technologies, Insight, Engineering Director.

Speakers will offer personal perspectives on leadership, discuss latest disruptive technology trends, and share insights on innovation.
