IDEX Corporation Acquires Precision Photonics

IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IEX (News - Alert)) today announced it has completed the purchase of Precision Photonics Corporation ("PPC") for cash consideration of $20 million. PPC, located in Boulder Colorado, specializes in optical components and coatings for applications in the fields of scientific research, aerospace, telecommunications and electronics manufacturing. PPC will operate in IDEX's Optics and Photonics platform within the Health and Science Technologis segment.
