iBasis and Vodafone Announce Peering Agreement and Exchange of Live 4G/Roaming Traffic over IPX InterconnectBURLINGTON, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- iBasis, a KPN (News - Alert) company, and Vodafone Carrier Services today announced a new 4G peering agreement, which is already carrying live 4G roaming traffic. By establishing peering, Vodafone extends its 4G roaming markets to an expanding footprint of mobile operators who are directly connected to iBasis (News - Alert). In turn, iBasis benefits by gaining direct access to the Vodafone group of companies and its mobile operator customers through the Vodafone Carrier Services' IPX hub, offering the opportunity for the company to greatly expand its global footprint.
