Hybrid Shop appoints new marketing director [Kuwait News Agency]


(Kuwait News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Hybrid Shop (THS) has named Jen Martin marketing director.

Ms. Martin brings more than 10 years of marketing and business development experience to her new position, "a significant portion of which was spent crafting innovative, results-driven marketing campaigns for industries including commercial construction and development as well as the private club space," according to THS.



In her new role at THS, the company said Ms. Martin will oversee all of its day-to-day marketing activities, planning and implementing strategic marketing projects and campaigns to support and expand THS' ongoing growth as well as enhance dealer partner relationships.

"Jen's experience makes her an ideal fit to help us continue our commitment to the development and delivery of innovative, results-oriented marketing campaigns that enhance our relationships with our dealer partners and give them the tools to maximize the business value and benefits they generate by serving the HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) market," said Judy Curry, THS chief marketing officer. "We are thrilled to have her onboard and look forward to the future with such a talented expert at the helm of our marketing efforts." Since its founding in 2013, Gainesville-based THS has focused on providing real-world information, education and training about the rapidly-expanding HEV market and the diagnostic equipment to service them. THS said other aspects of its recent growth include: • Offering additional revenue streams and customer leads — the company signed 25 new dealer partners in the past year, generating more than $5 million in leads; • Projecting to add 10 more dealer partners to the THS network by year-end; • Increasing its exponential market growth and expansion with a focus on international markets, including Asia; and • The appointment of new CEO Dave Crawford "to spearhead the next phase of THS' evolution" and lead the way to future growth; Ms. Martin said "the members of the THS team are innovators, not only in the hybrid world, but in their approach to business development, marketing, and customer service. I look forward to putting my marketing expertise to use serving our increasing network of dealer partners and cementing THS' position as the leader in hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics and maintenance among consumers and the Aftermarket and Auto Repair industry worldwide." One of her first official duties will be accompanying the THS team to the upcoming Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. THS plans to host an invitation-only Hybrid Training Day event for shop owners on the opening day of the show, Nov. 3, at Ted Weins Auto Service in Las Vegas. From Nov. 4-7 the company will be at booth #10218, Tools & Equipment, in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. It also will host a "Hybrid Celebration Party" at the Boombox at Marquee Nightclub on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
