Huawei Uganda Launches Mobile Broadband Demo Truck Show(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Huawei has officially launched the Mobile Broadband demo truck show at Kampala Serena Hotel, in Uganda. The 5-day demo is set to showcase Huawei's latest converged communications solutions and philosophies to enhance its brand industry leadership, with a theme; connected possibilities- make it possible. Radoslaw Kedzia, MD, Huawei Uganda, stated: "We aim at introducing new trends and concepts of ICT transformation, infrastructure transformation and successful business operation transformation with the latest ICT convergence solutions exhibited in the truck. For our telecom operators, we intend to bring to you the latest on IT/CT transformation like storage, VAS cloud platform and SDP." Hon. Nyombi Thembo, the State Minister for ICT and guest of honor at the event, stated that: "I commend Huawei Technologies for their continuous innovations in the field of ICT, as government we shall continue supporting them in their endeavors." The following topics shall be presented to the guests between 18th and 22nd August; industry trends, ICT transformation, software-defined mobile, in-depth Network Optimisation, convergent LTE Haul, In-depth Network optimisation, convergent LTE Haul and so much more. According to Huawei, these latest solutions are targeting telecom operators with the aim of helping Ugandans get connected better. In July 2014, Huawei held a similar event in Kenya where they showed off their technology at its annual open day dubbed as 'Connected Possibilities Make it possible,' held to showcase its various ICT solutions to consumers.
