Hipcricket Passes Industry-Leading 175,000 Campaign Mark

KIRKLAND, Wash. --(Business Wire)--

Hipcricket®, the one-stop mobile marketing and advertising wholly owned subsidiary of Augme® Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: AUGT or "Augme"), today announced that it has passed the industry-leading 175,000 campaign mark. Hipcricket has enjoyed double-digit percentage growth in the number of campaigns processed each month since February 2005, with over 15 percent sequential quarterly growth over the past twenty fiscal quarters.

Hipcricket has completed more than 25,000 campaigns to date in calendar year 2012. The company is outpacing its 2011 record performance, when its technology platform managed more than 61,000 campaigns, which represented a 76 percent increase relative to the 34,000 campaigns developed and executed in 2010.

Selected highlights of calendar 2012 thus far include:

  • A major studio turned to Hipcricket as a one-stop mobile marketing and advertising solution for designing and implementing a comprehensive campaign to attract, engage, and re-target audiences on the mobile device. The movie broke all previous opening weekend records for box office purchases made with mobile devices.
  • Hipcricket is a leader in mobil marketing and advertising solutions for the lottery industry, now working with more than a half-dozen of such organizations throughout the U.S.
  • The naming of Hipcricket as one of three "Mobile Marketing & Advertising Agency of the Year" finalists out of a pool of 600 entrants in the prestigious GSMA (News - Alert) annual global mobile awards competition.
  • New features and functionality for the company's AD LIFE® mobile marketing and advertising platform. The powerful SaaS (News - Alert)-based platform has been further optimized for ease of use through the addition of a variety of upgrades, including the addition of key updates to the Mobile SiteBuilder and the mobile couponing modules. These enhancements strengthen the platform's self-service capabilities and enable tighter integration between mobile channels.
