HELLA features innovative light solutions at eima, the agricultural machine trade show in Italy; LED worklights and front lighting in focus

(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 20 October 2014 Release date- 17102014 - Lippstadt, Germany - The lighting expert HELLA is presenting its current portfolio of innovative light solutions at eima, the international trade show for agricultural machines, from November 12 - 16 in Bologna, Italy.

The HELLA trade show booth (Hall 18/C18) will include the comprehensive worklight product line, light solutions for front, interior and rear lighting, beacons, and solutions from the area of electrics and electronics.

HELLA is setting a trend with the new Q90 LED high-performance worklight with plastic cooling elements. Using innovative, thermally conductive materials, the Q90 provides new options in terms of design and weight reduction. Unlike worklights with plastic housings available on the market to date, the new headlamp means HELLA is able to attain or even exceed light output comparable to xenon technology, even in incredibly small designs. This involves using special heat-conducting plastics instead of aluminum cooling elements. These plastics perfectly dissipate the heat from the LEDs, ensuring a long service life. In addition, the complete corrosion resistance of the plastics makes up a huge advantage over aluminum. The Module 70 LED worklight in its fourth generation also features significantly improved light output. Compared to its predecessor model, the headlamp, at 1800 measured lumens, produces 125 percent more light at an energy consumption of only 30 watts. The special version with a blue lens for crop spraying equipment is also being presented at the trade show booth.

In the front lighting area, the enhanced, energy-efficient 90 millimeter LED module headlamp series can also be seen. Like all the products in the 90-millimeter series, the new L4060 modules are notable for their efficiency, robust construction and highly flexible installation. Thanks to a new lens shape (40 x 60 millimeters) and the choice between black and silver frames, the L4060 LED product family offers customers a wider range of options in terms of design and custom-tailoring than ever before. Both the high-beam and the fog-light modules are available with a single light function or a combination of this function and others. HELLA is presenting a world premiere, the C140 LED combination headlamp. The combination headlamp is the first of its kind in which all lighting functions are implemented using LED technology. Its lower energy consumption in comparison to halogen headlamps and its resistance against vibration, mechanical shocks, dust and moisture make it a practical headlamp that generates the best light output, even in a tough environment.

The light expert HELLA has more than 100 years of experience in automotive original equipment and continues to advance lighting technology. HELLA transfers this expertise from the original equipment area to new customer groups and the areas of agricultural, construction and forestry machines and special vehicles. Considering the high loads that these vehicles have to endure, HELLA develops and constructs custom-tailored lighting solutions. At eima, HELLA is presenting a customer-specific cover, thus illustrating how the many years of expertise in technology, process and quality is systematically transferred from automotive original equipment to the area of agricultural and construction machinery.
