Aiding in the quick diagnosis of the TDR trace, an auto set-up option helps determine the impedance of the cable under test, sets the unit accordingly and selects the optimum gain and pulse width. Technicians can also manually adjust the unit's controls to insure that any event of interest is fully visible on the set's extra high resolution (to 4"), backlit screen. A unique trace hold feature allows technicians to view a trace later. The lightweight, ergonomically designed TDR500/3-CTV easily fits into oe hand allowing the other to be free to operate the intuitive, easy-to-use controls. Megger's new TDR set comes with a soft canvas carrying case, complete with shoulder strap and rugged snap hook to attach to a tool belt, ladder or cable, making it safe and easy to carry. The rugged, IP54-rated TDR500/3-CTV is suitable for both indoor and outdoor operation. Technical Specifications
