Handango Names Alex Bloom VP of Content and International
HURST, Texas, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Handango, the leading provider of smartphone apps today announced the appointment of Alex Bloom, a long-time wireless industry leader, as vice president of content and international. As the head of content and international, Bloom is charged with defining and executing Handango's global smartphone applications strategy.

Bloom will lead content acquisition efforts, develop revenue strategies and help lead Handango's efforts to optimize content and e-commerce services both domestically and internationally.

Most recently, Bloom served as General Manager of Motricity's smartphone business, where he was responsible for all facets of its direct-to-consumer smartphone properties, including, Pocketgear.com, Palmgear.com, Mobile2day.de and ereader.com.
