Granite Triples Hiring Rate for 2015


Granite Telecommunications, LLC, a provider of voice, data, networking, and other communications services, plans to hire 325 new employees next year at its Quincy headquarters and branch offices in Atlanta, Miami, New York, and Providence, Rhode Island. The company has grown by an average of 100 employees each year over the past decade and plans to increase that growth rate based on projections at the start of this year, with a goal of doubling the company's workforce by 2019.

"As our business customers continue to ask us to perform more and more for them, we're in need of additional great teammates to ensure all that work is accomplished," said Rob Hale, Granite's Chief Executive Officer. "We're looking for passionate, dedicated candidates to join our growing Granite team."



Granite's announcement to grow the team by record-breaking numbers comes on the heels of the company's announcement in September that it has exceeded $1 billion in annualized revenue. By providing customized communications solutions to multisite businesses, which include two-thirds of the Fortune 100, Granite has grown revenue by more than 20% each year. The company began as a start-up in 2002 with fewer than 25 employees and has grown to become one of Boston's largest privately held companies.
