(TradeArabia Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Dubai's Grand Midwest Tower Hotel has announced major renovation and modernisation plans with an objective to cater its clientele with enhanced services and elevated modern experience.

As of May, the front lobby, reception and check-in counters, all day dinning – Zarita restaurant and recreation area will undergo key transformation; and the whole new look will be by October, a statement said.

Plans are on paper to make changes and shifts in coffee shop, back office and mini mart. There will be an addition of a signature restaurant offering specialty cuisine, high capacity ballroom, pool lounge at the recreation area, ATM machines and a gift shop at lobby level that will cater the hotel's diverse portfolio of guests.



Nadia Shah, general manager of Grand Midwest Group said, "We are committed to offer excellence beyond what a four-star hotel can offer. The renovation plan reaffirms our competitive position in the market and makes us well prepared in time to welcome the Expo 2020 tourism rush." A new team of professionals in marketing and sales division has been appointed ensuring the brand is well perceived with the stakeholders and within the industry. To ensure guests an enhanced dining experience, the hotel has also appointed an experienced chef who will dish out array of cuisines under the same roof at its international all day dining restaurant.

"So far we have enjoyed continuous success across our properties, thanks to the opportunity given by the land, the loyalty of our guests and hard work of our team. It is time we translate this success into serving our guests better," said Shah.


"The renovation plan is a natural solution to understanding and accommodating the needs of our guests and it is our effort to present enhanced experience while still offering the same value. We are not just offering a great place to stay and connectivity with the city, but a friendly experience that will bring our guests back year after year." The interior designing firm Frances Studio from Ireland has been appointed to undertake the re-designing project and its key designer Martin Wayte has made initial visits to discuss the transformation areas and redesigning aspects of the plan.

"Having completed design and supply of specialist features to Club West in 2012, I am delighted to be once again part of the Grand Midwest Tower renovation to ground and first floor," said Wayte.

"We are presently at the design and drawing stage and will soon be ready to go to tender with a view to completing in early October of this year. Our aim is to give a five star experience in a four star hotel." Sculptural glass features designed and manufactured by Frances Studio's will be significant component adding to the aesthetic value of the new look and harmonizing with it, the brand will  make strategic image changes through a streamlined color theme across its properties, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service ?
