Go Daddy Revved & Ready for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Debut
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. --(Business Wire)-- This weekend marks the first time GoDaddy.com will sponsor a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team, the first time the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet will officially take to the track, and the first time driver Brad Keselowski will compete in the elite Sprint Cup Series. This 'trifecta' of stock car racing will take place Saturday during the Bank of America 500 in Concord, N.C.
"Go Daddy is excited to be part of NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series," said GoDaddy.com CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. "And we think the fans will agree, Brad Keselowski might be young, but he has the makings of a champion."
Keselowski currently sits third in the Nationwide Series point standings, earning two victories this season with nine top-five finishes, and is all smiles about getting into Sprint Cup.
GoDaddy.com has established itself in auto racing and sponsors an all-star lineup of drivers. Among them, NASCAR's most popular driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and open-wheel's most popular driver Danica Patrick, who made history with the first-ever IndyCar Series win by a woman this season. Also on the GoDaddy.com list of sponsored NASCAR drivers, Ron Fellows, who won in Montreal this season, veteran Mark Martin and NASCAR rookie Landon Cassill.
As the newest driver for GoDaddy.com, Keselowski is set to take the wheel of the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for a second time Nov. 2 at Texas Motor Speedway. It's all part of a two-race deal with the legendary Hendrick Motorsports team. Earlier this year, Go Daddy entered the Sprint Cup Series with a broadcast sponsorship of the Sylvania 300 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Coverage of Saturday's Bank of America 500, begins Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ABC.
