Global Technologies to hire 220-250 employees

Global Technologies, a national construction and engineering contractor for telecommunications and utility operators, today announced it will hire between 220 and 250 fulltime employees in Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami this year. The jobs, covering a variety of telecommunications construction, engineering, technical, management and support positions. Global Technologies, based in Chicago, plans, builds, installs and maintains underground, above-ground and aerial communications network equipment and lines, cellular and microwave towers, AC/DC power systems and plant infrastructure. It has maintained a presence in Florida since January 2010 and has opened permanent service offices in Lakeland and Orlando, driven by ongoing relationships with customers including Nsoro MasTec, AT&T, Verizon Wireless and others. A third Florida service office in Jacksonville will open on Feb. 15.
