German SEN targets buys in new regions - CEO

(M&A Navigator Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) German business software and hardware provider Siemens Enterprise Communications, or SEN, is seeking acquisitions in new regions as part of its growth strategy, CEO Mark Stone told daily Handelsblatt on Thursday.

According to Stone, the company is currently in talks with several partners over deals.

No financial details were provided.

US IT and telecommunication investor The Gores Group acquired SEN in 2008 from German technology group Siemens (ETR:SIE). The Gores Group and Siemens invested each EUR175m (USD264.5m) to set up a joint venture then, in which Gores subsidiaries, network equipment and security solutions provider Enterasys and call centre software maker SER Solutions also took part.
