General Mills Rises 1.14% on Heavy Volume: Watch For Potential Pullback

Feb 14, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- General Mills (NYSE:GIS) traded in a range yesterday that spanned from a low of $39.34 to a high of $39.88. Yesterday, the shares gained 1.1%, which took the trading range above the 3-day high of $39.52 on volume of 5.4 million shares. Often times after large one-day gains, short term traders will seek to take profits and, as such, investors should be cautious.


Over the past year, General Mills has traded in a range of $34.64 to $41.06 and is now at $39.79, 15% above that low. The 200-day and 50-day moving averages have moved 0.03% higher and 0% lower over the past week, respectively.
