Futures market survey: 40 pct bullish about Shanghai zinc on Wed.

BEIJING, Feb 14, 2012 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- About 40 percent futures experts surveyed by the China Finance Corporation, a financial information provider run by Xinhua News Agency, are bullish about zinc futures traded on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) on Wednesday, while 40 percent are negative and the rest 20 percent expect range-bound trading of the commodity.


The SHFE benchmark zinc contract, for April delivery, opened 15 yuan lower at 15,965 yuan/t on Wednesday morning.

Futures experts here include futures brokers, research institutions and other market observers.


The futures brokers that are bullish about Shanghai zinc include Donghua Futures and Galaxy Futures.

The futures brokers that expect range-bound trading of Shanghai zinc include Jintai Futures The futures brokers that are bearish about Shanghai zinc include Dayou Futures and Yide Futures. (Edited by Wang Li, wangle1@xinhua.org)
