MCLEAN, Va. --(Business Wire)--

Food Foundation will highlight how frozen foods help youth and

activity and healthier eating habits of Americans, especially as a means
of reversing growing obesity rates nationwide. Through their support of
the 5K, frozen food producers are demonstrating the value of pairing
physical activity with good-for-you food products that are convenient,
tasty and wholesome.
Held in conjunction with the American Frozen Food Institute Frozen Food
Convention, the 5K will take place Sunday, Feb. 19, along the boardwalk
behind the Manchester Grand Hyatt near Seaport Village. Registration for
the event is $20 for adults and free for youth under 18. Race
participants will receive a t-shirt and sport bag with frozen food
coupons. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishing males and
females. Registration is now open to the public at www.FrozenFoodFacts.org/5K.
Participants must be registered by Feb. 13 to be guaranteed a t-shirt
