Frontier Communications Sponsors National Swim Champ Ariana Kukors

Apr 13, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Frontier Communications recently announced its official sponsorship of five-time national swim champion Ariana Kukors from the Puget Sound area as she trains to compete this summer in London, England.

According to a release, with Kukors as a Frontier All-Star Team ambassador, Frontier will support the YMCA of Snohomish County to enhance visibility to the Y and its programs for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Additional funding will also be provided through the Great Frontier Donate, a charitable program designed by Frontier to give back to local communities.

Kukors, the world record-holder in the 200-meter long course individual medley, welcomes Frontier's ongoing commitment to local communities in Washington state.


"Giving back is one of the hallmarks of Frontier, as is strengthening the communities it serves. I am proud to partner with them in their charitable efforts with the YMCA of Snohomish County," Kukors said. "The Y played a critical role in my early life as I learned to swim, and I thank Frontier for understanding its importance in building character for children and teens."
