Lynn Hickey, Director of Athletics at University of Texas-San Antonio, will serve as incoming NACWAA President-Elect and Executive Committee member.

The four-year board terms officially began October 13, 2014, when elected candidates were announced at the NACWAA National Convention in Louisville.

In addition, Joan McDermott, Director of Athletics, Metropolitan State University of Denver, will serve as President after completing a four-year NACWAA board term and one year as President-Elect.

"I am privileged and honored to be chosen to lead the premier leadership association for women." McDermott said. "We are working hard to continue to mentor and advance the success of women in collegiate athletics. This is a fast-growing organization and I look forward to continuing to build on the momentum that we already have." In Campos' second year at NAU, the department unveiled a new brand identity and completed a master facilities plan. Athletically, NAU captured the Big Sky Men's and Women's All-Sports Trophy and captured six conference championships. Academically, the department achieved an 82% Graduation Success Rate while the student-athletes completed 4,375 community service hours. Campos took over the leadership of the Lumberjack Athletics department after serving as the Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of Texas at El Paso since August 2006.

Also in her second year as athletic director, Lyke came to Eastern Michigan with more than 17 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics administration - 15 of which were at The Ohio State University. In Lyke's first year at Eastern Michigan, the Eagles won three Mid-American Conference team championships and 24 individual MAC titles in track and swimming. EMU also produced 64 All-MAC student-athletes and 41 Academic All-MAC honorees.

At OSU, she was a member of the athletic department's executive team and responsible for the assessment, design and development of the department's strategic plan.

Muller was named North Atlantic Conference commissioner in May 2005 and has since played an integral role in its growth and development. She represents the conference on various committees, regionally and nationally, and works closely with the Presidents and Athletic Directors of the member institutions to ensure the organization is fulfilling its mission. Muller brings an extensive background in athletics as both a coach and an administrator, including tenures at Stony Brook University and Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham, her alma mater.

Under Hickey's direction since 2000, UTSA has captured three conference commissioner's cups and a pair of league all-sports trophies while consistently winning both team and individual academic and athletics awards in all 17 sports. Hickey has overseen the addition of three sports during her tenure: football, women's golf and women's soccer. Hickey came to San Antonio from Texas A&M University, where she served as senior associate athletics director/senior woman administrator. Previously, she was also head women's basketball coach at Texas A&M and at Kansas State University.

McDermott is in her 17th year as the director of athletics at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Metro State has captured 33 RMAC regular season championships and 38 RMAC Tournament championships under McDermott's guidance. In 2013-14, McDermott was named Under Armour NCAA Division II Athletic Director of the Year by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. Prior to her appointment as director of athletics in 1998, McDermott coached the Metro State volleyball team for five years.

Campos, Lyke, Muller and Hickey step in for departing board members Anucha Browne (Vice President of Women's Basketball Championships, NCAA), Kim Chandler (Director of Athletics, Physical Education & Recreation, Macalester College) Vicky Chun (Associate Professor and Director of Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics, Colgate University) and Immediate Past President Chris Plonsky (Women's Athletics Director, University of Texas).
