Firethorn enters into reseller agreement with Fifth Third Processing Solutions

Firethorn Holdings LLC, a mobile commerce enabler and a division of
Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM), announced on Monday (29 September) that the
company has entered into a reseller agreement with Fifth Third
Processing Solutions, a processor of ATM and POS transactions for
financial institutions and retail locations.

Under the agreement, Firethorn will bring mobile banking services to
Fifth Third's financial institution clients.

Through Firethorn's mobile banking solution, Fifth Third's customers
will be able to check account balances, view transaction details and
transfer funds. In addition end-users will gain access to their account
history and can make account balance inquiries through SMS.

The company said that future capabilities will include more advanced
mobile transactions and mobile commerce.



As a part of the relationship, Fifth Third Processing Solutions will
offer Firethorn's products to its processing financial institution
clients, leveraging existing integration and connectivity to deploy
Firethorn's mobile application.
Fifth Third Processing Solutions is expected to make the service
available to its financial institutions before the end of 2008.

Financial details of the agreement were not available.
