Finnish municipalities choose Atea for delivery of Microsoft software licenses


(Oslo Bors Newsfeed Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (Finland) KL Kuntahankinnat Oy, a joint procurement company for Finnish municipalities, has awarded the framework agreement for reselling Microsoft software licenses to Atea Finland Oy. The annual estimated value for the four-year framework agreement is more than EUR 30 million (NOK 252 million).



Atea estimates that some 300 municipal organizations acquire Microsoft licenses through the agreement. The agreement also allows the municipalities to acquire software related services such as license management, technical deployment and product training.

The agreement will have effect as of July 2014.


This contract will replace earlier equivalent contract between Atea Finland Oy and KL Kuntahankinnat Oy, which terminated 30 June 2014.
