Farmers National Bank Announces Pilot Launch of R.C. Giltner Services' PaySound® "No Overdraft Fee Ever" Checking PlanLOUISVILLE, Ky. --(Business Wire)-- R.C. Giltner Services, a provider of financial services and technology products to financial institutions, has announced Farmers National Bank, a $477 million bank headquartered in Danville, Kentucky, is offering the PaySound® "No Overdraft Fees Ever" Checking Plan in two branches. Farmers National Bank chose to offer R.C. Giltner Services' PaySound Plan to provide bank customers an alternative to traditional overdraft fees, allowing them to avoid these fees for a flat rate of $14.95 per month. PaySound is available in Farmers National Bank's East Main and Harrodsburg branches, and there are plans to offer the services in additional locations in the near future. Through R.C. Giltner's PaySond product suite, bank customers may also choose to establish a line of credit with the checking account, using PaySound's cloud-based automated underwriting function. Existing customers can qualify for up to $1,000 with no credit score required or elect to include a credit score for up to $5,000. Non-customers can apply for a starter line of credit predicated on the opening of the PaySound Plan at a local branch.
