Farmers Insurance Mobile Claims Catastrophe Bus Featured at International Association of Fire Chiefs Conference March 27-28

RENO, NV, Mar 23, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Farmers Insurance will participate in a Wildland Urban Interface Conference presented by the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) March 27-28 at the Sierra Grand Resort in Reno, NV.

"This important gathering of fire and emergency officials concentrates on disaster preparation, deployment and recovery issues that are occurring more frequently each year throughout our country," noted Nate Hildner, Farmers Nevada State Executive Director. "We will have on exhibit one of our Mobile Claims Catastrophe buses (MCC) which is equipped with state-of-the-art satellite communications equipment, satellite weather communications, phones, laptops and supplies. The MCCs are deployed to disasters that occur throughout the United States to join agents our claims teams help our customers and non-customers alike with immediate and long term needs."
