Fair Trade Retailer Ten Thousand Villages Ramps Up for Holidays Using Shiftboard's Online Scheduling Software

As retailers ramp up holiday operations, non-profit, fair trade retailer Ten Thousand Villages is doing the same. With 156 stores in the U.S., it has an ongoing need to schedule shifts, especially this time of year. Ten Thousand Villages Houston and Seattle are using online scheduling software provided by Seattle-based Shiftboard Inc. to recruit and schedule volunteers for the big holiday push.

Shiftboard's web-based system has resulted in a drop in missed shifts and gives staff greater control and accountability over their schedule.
