Extreme Reality Launch Interactive Motion Controlled PC Game, "DanceWall Remix" Available on Steam

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) HERZALIA, ISRAEL -- (Marketwired) -- 08/27/14 -- Extreme Reality, the only company to bring full-body 3D motion controlled gaming to any device via a standard 2D camera, today announced the launch of DanceWall Remix, an interactive motion controlled PC game available for download on 40 online game stores, including Steam (the world's largest online gaming platform with 35 million active users in 237 countries), Gamersgate and Gram. DanceWall Remix allows dance/game enthusiasts to select from their favorite genres, disco, classic, or retro, and provides an interactive motion controlled game by simply using any PC device and a webcam -- no console is required.

"For the first time, any PC device owner can access and interact with Extreme Reality's newest motion controlled game, DanceWall Remix, without touching a controller or connecting to a console. This new found freedom is dramatically changing the face of motion gaming," said Sarit Firon, CEO of Extreme Reality. "The fact that DanceWall Remix is launching on Steam, among 40 additional online game sites, is a testament to the future of 3D, full-body motion gaming." DanceWall Remix is an interactive rhythm and pose matching game controlled by a player's body movements. Each player can make physical body poses that transform the onscreen silhouette to fit through approaching silhouetted shapes and holes on a rapidly approaching wall. Using the standard 2D camera that commonly exists in most PC computers, players can control movement of their in-game silhouette as they aim to reach their goal to earn the highest score by making the best possible fit with these onscreen silhouettes, picking up bonuses, and avoiding obstacles. The physical gameplay is immediately intuitive and doesn't require any previous experience with video games to quickly enjoy the fun.

Divided into three themes, Disco, Classic and Retro, each DanceWall Remix genre has a unique look and feel based on the associated music. Retro is an 8Bit inspired synthetic world of electronic music. Classic is a "Bubblegum-Pop" world where everything is pretty and playful, and Disco is thematic of a '70s nightclub.
