Everything Channel's CRN Names Digium 2009 Tech Innovator

Digium, Inc. announced that it was named a 2009 Tech Innovator by Everything Channel's CRN in the Networking Voice/Data VoIP category.
Everything Channel said its Tech Innovator award celebrates technology vendors that have introduced new solutions that drive advances throughout the technology channel.
Digium's Switchvox family of IP PBX systems for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) provides unified communications that integrates with web applications such as Google Maps and CRM Salesforce, as well as providing chat, fax, video and conferencing capabilities. Digium's product lines include a range of hardware and software to enable resellers and businesses to implement turnkey business phone system solutions or to design their own Voice over IP (VoIP) systems at a fraction of the cost of proprietary PBX systems.

The Tech Innovators were nominated by their individual companies and final selections were made by the editors of CRN. In order to participate, products were required to have been introduced (as a new product or significant upgrade) after August 1, 2008 and all products were required to be shipping in volume by July 30. Products were also required to be sold via commercial or retail channels.
Winners will be announced in the December 14 issue of CRN.
