EQT Foundation Awards More Than $1M in Grants

The EQT Foundation today announced that it has awarded grants totaling more than $1 million to approximately 35 individual, non-profit organizations during the first and second quarters of 2015. These associations and programs have a variety of focus disciplines including community outreach, economic development, education, and arts and culture.

As the charitable arm of EQT Corporation, a Pittsburgh-based integrated energy company, the EQT Foundation has awarded more than $32 million to various groups since its inception in 2003. The Foundation is committed to helping communities prosper by supporting education for our children - especially in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines; encouraging the development of safe, healthy, diverse neighborhoods; supporting the environment and preservation of local natural resources; and sponsoring local programs that promote greater understanding and appreciation of arts and culture throughout EQT's primary operating areas.
