Enterasys Wins Three Stevie Awards Showcasing Excellence in Sales & Customer Service

SALEM, N.H., March 1, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Enterasys Networks, a Siemens Enterprise Communications Company, was honored with three Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service at a gala ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this week. For the second year in a row, Enterasys was recognized for its outstanding achievements in customer service, underscoring the company's mantra, 'There is nothing more important than our customers.' Enterasys was a winner in the following categories.

-- Gold Award for Innovation in Customer Service - Enterasys combines traditional support from its Global Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) with isaac, a first of its kind social media tool. isaac revolutionizes the way network management is done by providing a predictable, secure, real-time solution for managing the network and all the applications it supports with an easy-to-use social media interface.

-- Silver Award for Contact Center of the Year - Enterasys has a 100 percent in-house support center. The team's 97 percent customer satisfaction rate is achieved using a variety of applications including Salesforce CRM, Chatter and a new "How To" video series where customers are able to hear first-hand from GTAC on how to troubleshoot common networking issues.


-- Bronze Award for Contact Center Leader of the Year - In the 17 years Vala Afshar, CMO and chief customer officer, has worked at Enterasys, he and his support team have delivered consistent service ratings that are unmatched in the industry. Under Vala's guidance, Enterasys implemented a cloud-based CRM tool, utilized a streamlined call center and increased customer access to Enterasys product experts in ways not done by other call centers, resulting in an unprecedented Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 8.1.
