The ENH1750EXT, which can be configured as an access point, Mesh (on 2.4 GHz) or WDS, is designed to operate in harsh outdoor environments delivering speeds up to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 450 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Fast wireless speeds, high-gain antennas, and high power output combine to provide reliable, high-performance wireless connectivity to 802.11ac laptops, tablets and other devices over large outdoor areas for high bandwidth applications such as video streaming or large file transfers.

Fast, Reliable, Secure Wireless Network Connectivity Over Large Outdoor Areas

The high-powered, long-range ENH1750EXT is a cost-effective alternative to ordinary access points that do not have the range and reach to connect to the growing number of users that want to connect to an outdoor network. The ENH1750EXT incorporates an external MIMO antenna array comprised of three detachable 5 dBi high-gain antennas for the 2.4 GHz radio and three detachable 7 dBi high-gain antennas for the 5 GHz radio to provide long-range connectivity to client devices.

While the ENH1750EXT is backwards compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n standards, its 5 GHz band delivers data nearly three times faster than Wireless N to AC-compatible wireless devices. To ensure optimal network performance for all connected devices for sensitive applications such as video surveillance, VoIP and HD video streaming, the ENH1750EXT features Band Steering to shift dual band-capable clients to 5 GHz from the 2.4 GHz band, helping to relieve network congestion and maintain optimal data traffic speeds.

The ENH1750EXT supports Fast Roaming for clients authenticated to a RADIUS server, ensuring that employees can maintain a constant connection to the network while roaming between access points. For secure network configurations, the ENH1750EXT supports Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK) encryption, IEEE (News - Alert) 802.1X with RADIUS and MAC address filtering.

Easy to Deploy and Manage

The PoE-capable ENH1750EXT is housed in an IP68-rated casing specifically designed to withstand rain, moisture or other harsh environmental conditions. Once deployed on rooftops or other difficult-to-access locations, the ENH1750EXT can be accessed with the EnGenius' EZ Controller™ Management Software for configuration changes and remote upgrades.

The ENH1750EXT supports AP mesh mode on the 2.4 GHz band to provide redundant, robust connectivity for wireless deployments when running Ethernet cable is not practical. In Mesh mode, the ENH1750EXT only needs to connect to the nearest node using the best path to transmit data, working collaboratively with other EnGenius Access Points in the network infrastructure. The ENH1750EXT can be configured with the same Mesh SSID and security password in order to associate with other ENH1750EXTs as well as connect with clients under the same SSID and security encryption signatures.
