EMU President Susan Martin to Be Featured on Weekly 'Small Talk with Mark S. Lee' Program on WXYT-AM (1270) at 7 A.M. Lee on his weekly "Small Talk" program on WXYT-AM 1270 at 7 a.m. on Sunday, August 17. Lee, an EMU alumnus, hosts the weekly program, which features in-depth discussions with business and education leaders in the metro Detroit area. Along with President Martin, Sunday's program will feature Shannon Gruschke, a senior marketing major at Eastern who's planning a career in social media management. Gruschke offers a variety of tips to students aspiring to such a career. Among those are deciding what your market is, determining the proper social media platform, and to engage regularly with your clients. And use Linkedin as a way to promote yourself, Gruschke says. Lee, a business executive, entrepreneur, educator and small business expert, showcases the secrets behind today's successful start-ups and small business ventures, with a particular focus on Detroit-based and small businesses throughout Michigan. His show features tips focused on addressing business challenges, next-level growth, sustainability and market trends. Lee is president and CEO, of the LEE Group, and has held senior-level positions with major organizations regionally and nationally. He is a guest lecturer at Eastern Michigan, where he teaches about consumer behavior and marketing strategy.
