Email service cut in Iran [Wales on Sunday (Wales)]

(Wales on Sunday (Wales) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MORE than 30 million people in Iran have lost access to foreign email services such as Gmail, Yahoo mail and Hotmail.

A report yesterday from the semi-official Mehr agency says authorities in the national telecommunications company declined to comment on the outage that began on Thursday, saying that it had no connection to them.

Iran has occasionally restricted the internet since the turmoil after the 2009 elections.
