Eaton Highlights Broad Array of Connected Lighting Capabilities at LIGHTFAIR 2016

Power management company Eaton (News - Alert) will highlight its end-to-end connected lighting strategies and technologies at LIGHTFAIR International (LFI) 2016, booth #2916, in San Diego, California, from April 26 to 28. Eaton will showcase its simplified roadmap enabling customers to better navigate the complexities of connected lighting.

"Connected lighting has moved well beyond internet-connected fixtures and is now part of the digital shift, linking smart devices to systems and networks enabling new value propositions," said Kraig Kasler, president, Eaton's Lighting Division. "Eaton will feature cohesive, reliable and simplified solutions for connected lighting needs, assisting customers as they navigate the next chapter in lighting through our innovation you can rely on commitment."

Eaton will feature its low voltage lighting suite of solutions during the event, including an alliance with Cisco's (News - Alert) Digital Ceiling Framework.

Eaton will also showcase its Ephesus sports lighting technology that transforms the modern day sports and entertainment experience. The industry-leading LED technology and controls solutions produce dynamic scenes and visual effects, as well as zero to 100 percent dimming and color temperature tuning from 4800 Kelvin (K) to 5600K.

In addition, Eaton will highlight and preview some of its advanced LED Lighting and Control System Technologies at LIGHTFAIR, including:

  • Eaton's Distributed Low Voltage Power (DLVP) system combines lighting and controls into one simple olution that can enable connectivity. By using DC low-voltage power and advanced LED technology, total materials and installation costs can be reduced by as much as 40 percent, while providing a completely flexible and electrically efficient solution.
  • Eaton's wireless connected lighting system is designed to help customers implement distributed control strategies cost effectively. The system allows for control of all lighting and receptacle loads, providing a platform for smart data analytics.
  • Eaton's Integrated Sensor Control Technology makes the lighting design the control design by combining the control within the luminaire. This reduces installation complexity and design time, while meeting energy codes.

Eaton's advanced LED lighting technologies, including AccuLED Optics™, WaveStream™ LED and D2W warm dimming color-tuning will also be on display at the company's booth.
