Eastwind Networks Wins Grant From Utah Science Technology and Research (USTAR)Eastwind Networks, the cybersecurity solutions and breach analytics cloud platform designed to provide visibility, forensics and incident response capabilities to enterprises, today announced that the company is the recipient of a Utah Science Technology and Research (USTAR) grant. Eastwind Networks was awarded $162,000 as part of the Technology Acceleration Program. Eastwind was one of 155 applicants for USTAR's Technology Acceleration Program, which works to promote Utah's targeted technology sectors. The company plans to use these funds to further its innovations in big data and machine learning research. The gran follows a $5.5 million seed extension round in 2016.
