EA to launch two new The Sims titles in 2009

Electronic Arts Inc (EA) (Nasdaq:ERTS), an interactive, entertainment,
software company, announced on Wednesday (7 January) that the company
plans to release two new titles within the MySims franchise.
The two new games, MySims Party and MySims Racing, developed at The
Sims Studio, will be available for the Wii and Nintendo DS and are
expected to be released in 2009.
MySims Party for the Wii has 50 mini games to choose from, each hosted
by a different MySim, whereas MySims Party for the Nintendo DS offers
40 mini games, specific for the DS.
MySims Racing for the Wii allows three players to compete with each
other in racing challenge. The game for the Nintendo DS allows up to
three players to race each other using local wireless or Nintendo
Wi-Fi.
MySims Party is priced at USD39.99 for the Wii version and USD29.99 for
the Nintendo DS. Pricing details for MySims Racing were not available.
