Dr. Todd Hostager Joins Logic PD to Develop Digital Product Strategy Curriculum and Deliver Marketing Intelligence

Logic PD, a complete product lifecycle solutions company for the digital world, announced today that Dr. Todd Hostager has been hired to lead development of the company's Digital Strategy Curriculum.

For nearly three decades, Hostager was a professor of Management and Marketing at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire before retiring in 2015. In this newly created position of Director of Digital Strategy Curriculum, Hostager is responsible for building the company's "Digital Product Management" (DPM) curriculum offering. In addition to overseeing curriculum development, Hostager will provide his extensive research expertise as part of the company's Analytics & Research Services offering.

"Todd's extensive knowledge of developing differentiated offerings in changing business environments combined with his academic foundation, research expertise and insight into the process of 'innovation' make him the perfect individual to lead our new instructive curriculum program," said Jason Voiovich, vice president of marketing and analytics & research services. "With the massive industry push to digitize offerings, traditional product management strategies are obsolete. Under Todd's direction, the DPM curriculum will provide the latest tools and knowledge chane how businesses take products and services to market."

Filling a void within the digital product development community, the comprehensive DPM curriculum provides product managers and developers with specific training focused on the requirements for bringing a connected device to market. Self-Directed or Instructor Reviewed, the curriculum has four levels of training: Levels 100 and 200 focus on concept validity - strategy, prototyping, and field testing; and Levels 300 and 400 focus on execution - assembling all of the rigor needed for a fundable business/product plan.

During his tenure at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, Hostager's research interests include entrepreneurship, impacts of strategic change on competitive advantage, creativity, and diversity perceptions. A prolific researcher, Hostager has authored numerous papers and journal articles. Over the years Hostager and Voiovich have collaborated on customer-focused research and jointly authored several academic articles which have appeared in Business Journal for Entrepreneurs, Journal of Education for Business and Global Education Journal.
