Dr. Deanna Babb Joins the AANP Board of Directors(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 19 -- The American Association of Nurse Practitioners issued the following news release: The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is pleased to announce that Deanna Babb, DNP, APRN, FNP, BC, FAANP, has been named to the AANP Board of Directors as Region 8 Director. Dr. Babb will fill the unexpired term of Gwen Rohde-Witzel, MSN, APRN, FNP, FAANP, who recently left the board after many years of service to AANP. Dr. Babb previously served as AANP's Montana State Representative and received the AANP Montana Nurse Practitioner Advocate of the Year Award in 2010. Passionate about caring for patients in her community, Dr. Babb works in a nurse practitioner owned family practice clinic in Great Falls, Montana. She completed her master's degree at Montana State University and doctorate of nursing practice (DNP) at University of Missouri St. Louis. Dr. Babb has taught at the graduate level for 13 years and has 12 years of experience as coordinator for a family nurse practitioner program. She is enjoying her new university home, teaching in the DNP graduate program at University of Mary, Bismarck, North Dakota.
