DishPal provides users with a space to swap images and descriptions of meals, appetizers, desserts and drinks. Users can show off their skills in the kitchen by sharing homemade dishes or suggest places to eat by sharing images from favorite restaurants. DishPal encompasses taste-tagging capabilities, so users can relay further details such as the spiciness or sweetness of a dish as well as indicate cuisine and dish type. DishPal users can also automatically update any or all of their DishPal posts to Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
The DishPal app, which launched earlier in the month caught the eyes of iOS users instantly and is currently featured as a "New and Noteworthy" app within days of its official launch. DishPal is also available for Android users and can be found in the Android Market.
DishPal provides smartphone users with the tools required to share, discover and enjoy dishes and drinks to their fullest extent. Features like group potlucks provide DishPal users with a way to connect with likeminded eaters - whether a user is a vegetarian or BBQ fanatic DishPal can provide a themed community space for them to interact. DishPal users can also promote their own unique tastes or document experiences and travels by creating personalized DishPal magazines.
